Collector’s Note

Limited slip differentials and self driving cruise control be damned, the coolest feature you could ever choose on a factory options list was this- the Honda Motocompo. One of the coolest, quirkiest vehicle combos from the land of the cool and quirky, the Motocompo was Honda's smallest scooter ever. With its handles and seat folded neatly into the unique rectangular body, the Motocompo stores easily and securely into the trunk of the Honda City minicar, presenting a one-stop solution for congested urban commutes. The only way you could ever buy a Motocompo was as an option included with a new Honda City, and that's exactly the opportunity we're presenting you to day. Our example is a 1986 Honda Jazz, which is how the City was badged for the European market, and while the odometer shows just 69,000km the Jazz and the Motocompo have been refreshed to as close to showroom condition as possible. These are rarely found for sale complete and in this condition, and our Jazz / Motocompo combo is ready to make a novel and historically significant addition to any collection, or be used as originally intended to get around the city or marina in style!

The handlebars, seat, and foot-pegs fold into the scooter's rectangular plastic body to present a clean, box-shaped package of 1,185 mm × 240 mm × 540 mm (46.7 in × 9.4 in × 21.3 in). It is the smallest scooter ever built by Honda.
