Step 1
Contact us to consult & discuss
First things first, let's get to know each other. We'll schedule a phone call or zoom to find out more about you and your car, answer any questions you may have about ourselves and our sales process, and make sure we're all on the same page with realistic expectations. If we decide we're a good match, that's when we begin the heavy lifting.
Step 2
Car comes to us for inspection
Your car will receive a meticulous inspection from our master technicians to accurately assess the condition of your car and identify anything it may need. A full report will be prepared outlining whatever repairs we believe are necessary for the sale of the car, as well as optional fixes we feel may add additional value. Our goal is to identify areas where we believe the increase in purchase price will greater than the amount spent, and you will always have the option to decide whether or not you would like to proceed with any proposed improvements.
Step 3
Detailing & servicing
Once any repairs are agreed upon, they will be carried out either here at our facility or, if needed, sent to one of our trusted specialists. After the car is brought to top mechanical condition, our in-house team of detailers will get to work to bring the car back to as close to showroom-new condition as possible through thorough cleaning and paint correction, repair or replacement of brightwork, interior restoration, and engine bay and underbody detailing.
Step 4
Professional Photography & Video
Proper presentation of your car is just as important to sales results as the condition of the car itself, which is where Colombo & Co's professional photographers and videographers step in to work their magic. Your car will receive a full studio shoot from our award winning indoor photographer to capture all of its best details and angles, while our separate team of outdoor photographers and videographers will capture the essence of your car in action and showcase it in some of our region's most beautiful settings.
Step 5
Documentation & Listing
We will gather, organize, and document all relevant paperwork available for the car, including service records, sales receipts, historical photographs, prior restoration work and competition history to assure your sales listing is as comprehensive as possible, then our team of copywriters will craft the unique aspects of your individual car into a compelling narrative. If you have chosen for us to list your car through one of our online auction partners, we will manage every step of the auction on your behalf. We pride ourselves in being incredibly engaged in our online auctions, answering every questions from potential bidders, offering supporting info and documentation, and working to arrange shipping and payment with the successful bidder.
